Spiced pheasant burger, Carolina reaper sauce


These burgers are a staple in our household, we make a big batch of burgers up at a time and freeze them ready in bags of two.  We’ve posted about them before on this post but if you’d prefer to go straight to the recipe on TheGameChef’s site you can use the link here.

We were lucky enough to be given a HUGE bag of Carolina reaper chilli pods earlier in the week and are working hard at making different recipes to test out this powerful chilli.  Last night we made “Haitian Creole Hot Sauce” with them and it’s worked out very well indeed.  Hubby used some on his fish wrap for his lunch (not my first choice I’d admit) and then we’ve tried it on our burger tonight.  Really is delightful!
