This is a recipe we keep going back to from Jamie Oliver, link here as usual. It’s always delivered on flavour. This time we made it with puff pastry instead of shortcrust. We also got some home grown veggies on the plate too and being lazy, had oven chips…. Shh!
We also had some fun with the onion gravy, following the suggestion of a our friend who makes lots of chilli products, and used his onion chilli relish to make beef and onion gravy with. Seriously delish! Her’s a link to his ebay page ( here ) for those in the UK who might be interested!
Hope folks give this recipe a try and you can make it with beef instead of venison, you’ll still love it!
